Most weeks I make a food plan – it saves me money to plan the week; firstly I can maximise the ingredients so I don’t throw anything away, and secondly I save money by not going to the shop where I usually get tempted to buy all sorts of nice stuff. I tend to visit the cheapest supermarkets such as ALDI and LIDL first and then go to the better stocked supermarket afterwards for the more specialised ingredients.
Here is a list of dinners I take my inspiration from when making my weekly food plan – the dishes can easily appear on more than one list:
Feel free to ask for details of any of the recipes and feel free to suggest more dishes to put on the list.

Strange that it’s dissappeared….
